Rotational internship at Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar, across medicine, surgery, paediatrics and gynaecology.

Orthopaedic training
Five years of training in orthopaedics and trauma at Hayatabad Medical Complex, with rotations through general surgery and allied departments — the years that decided the direction of the practice.

Specialist qualification
FCPS in Orthopaedics and Trauma from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan.

Teaching and private practice
Senior Registrar in the Department of Orthopaedics at Pak International Medical College since May 2025, alongside consulting at Pak Medical Center, Khyber Bazar. Certificate in Health Professions Education from Baqai Medical University the same year.
Most of the patients I see in Peshawar come to me with knee problems. Some are sports injuries in younger patients, but a large share are older patients whose knees have worn out, and knee replacement is the operation I perform most often. What I tell every one of them is the same: the operation is the shorter part of it. The rehabilitation afterwards decides the result.
Who we are
This is a single-surgeon orthopedic practice. Dr. Abdul Hadi consults, operates and follows up his own patients — there is no rotating panel, and the surgeon who assesses you is the surgeon who performs your procedure.
The practice runs from a consulting room inside Pak Medical Center, a private multi-storey medical building in Khyber Bazar, central Peshawar. The building houses laboratories, imaging and pharmacies on its lower floors, so X-rays and scans can usually be arranged in the same visit.

What we do
Thirteen procedures across four areas: knee and sports surgery, shoulder surgery, joint replacement, and trauma and pain management. In practice that means arthroscopic ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, rotator cuff repair and shoulder stabilization, total and partial knee and hip replacement, fracture fixation, deformity correction and chronic joint pain assessment.
Not every patient needs an operation. Conservative management is offered where it works as well, and surgery is recommended only where it is clinically indicated.
Clinical philosophy
Dr. Hadi prioritises evidence-based treatment and patient-centred communication. You get a thorough assessment, a clear explanation of the diagnosis, and a structured treatment plan — whether that involves surgery or non-surgical management.
He prioritises minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques wherever they suit your case, reducing post-operative pain, shortening recovery, and minimising scarring. Surgery is recommended only where it is clinically indicated.
