Knee Arthroscopy & Sports Surgery
LCL Reconstruction Surgery in Peshawar
Lateral collateral ligament injuries are uncommon but serious — they leave the outer side of your knee unstable, and untreated they can lead to lasting joint damage. Dr. Abdul Hadi performs LCL reconstruction at Pak Medical Center, Khyber Bazar.
- Minimally invasive
- MRI-based assessment
- Multi-ligament experience
What is LCL reconstruction?
LCL reconstruction is an operation that restores the structural integrity of the outer side of your knee, either by repairing the ligament or rebuilding it with a graft.
Your procedure uses a minimally invasive approach, and follows a full MRI-based assessment of your knee.
You may need this procedure if
- Your lateral ligament is completely ruptured and your knee is unstable
- You have injured more than one knee ligament
- Conservative treatment has not settled your symptoms
- You have pain or instability on the outer side of your knee after trauma
Recovery & rehabilitation
You will have a full clinical examination and MRI before any decision about surgery is made. A Grade III LCL rupture, or an LCL injury alongside other ligament damage, will usually need reconstruction.

Assessment first. Your imaging shows whether the injury is isolated or part of a multi-ligament pattern, and that changes the surgical plan.
