Shoulder Arthroscopy
Arthroscopic Shoulder Stabilization Surgery in Peshawar
If your shoulder keeps dislocating, it limits what you can do day to day and makes sport difficult. Dr. Abdul Hadi performs arthroscopic shoulder stabilization at Pak Medical Center, Khyber Bazar, addressing the structural instability causing the dislocations.
- Arthroscopic Bankart repair
- CT assessment for bone loss
- Minimally invasive
What is shoulder stabilization?
Stabilization surgery is an operation that repairs the damaged labrum and ligaments allowing your shoulder to dislocate again and again.
The arthroscopic Bankart repair is the standard procedure for anterior instability. It re-tensions the front of your capsule and labrum through small incisions.
You may need this procedure if
- Your shoulder has dislocated twice or more
- You are younger or an athlete wanting to return to sport
- Your shoulder still feels unstable, or you brace against it moving
- Your imaging shows the labral damage getting worse
Recovery & rehabilitation
Each dislocation does more damage to your labrum, your capsule and eventually the bone of the socket itself. Operating earlier prevents that bone loss, and gives the best long-term result if you are active.

Assessment includes imaging for bone loss. A CT scan shows whether you have lost glenoid bone, and that determines whether a Bankart repair or a Latarjet is right for you.
